Is the programme self-paced or instructor led?

The programme is fully online and self paced. There are no fixed class times, allowing participants to complete the modules at their own pace within the access period.

How long do I have access to the course?

You will have access to the programme for six months from the date of enrolment, which is more than sufficient to complete the course comfortably, should an extension be needed a fee will be incurred for extension of course access.

Are there any additional costs for assessments or certification?

No. All assessments and the certificate of completion are included in the programme fee.

Is there a minimum pass rate for assessments?

Yes. Each quiz has a minimum pass rate of 80%. Participants are allowed unlimited attempts to achieve the required score and progress to the next module.

Are there any prerequisites to join the programme?

No. There are no formal prerequisites. The programme is suitable for professionals from a wide range of backgrounds.

Will I receive a certificate upon completion?

Yes. Upon successful completion, participants will receive an ISCA Certificate of Completion and the ESG Malaysia Certified Practitioner designation for the relevant programme.

When can HRDC claims be submitted?

HRDC claims can only be submitted after the programme has been completed and the certificate of completion has been obtained by the participant.

Are there any live classes or physical meet ups?

There are no mandatory in person sessions or live classes. However, ESG Malaysia will organise optional monthly professional networking and knowledge sharing sessions for participants. These sessions provide a platform to discuss learnings, share real world applications, and exchange insights with fellow professionals.

What is the total cost of the programme?

The programme fee is a one time fee. There are no hidden charges, no additional module fees, and no extra costs required to complete the programme.

How are participants assessed?

Each module includes quizzes or assessments designed to test understanding of the content and reinforce practical learning.

What happens if I do not pass an assessment on the first attempt?

You may retake the assessment as many times as needed until the minimum pass rate is achieved. There is no penalty for retakes.

Who should consider enrolling in these programmes?

The programmes are suitable for professionals in finance and accounting, sustainability and ESG, risk and compliance, internal audit, operations, engineering, strategy, consulting, and management roles.

Are the programmes HRDC claimable?

Currently, the Certified Practitioner in Sustainability Accounting (SACP) is HRDC claimable upon full completion of the course. The Certified Practitioner in Sustainability Assurance (SAAP) is not HRDC claimable at this time.

Can organisations enrol multiple participants?

Yes. Corporate and group enrolments are welcome. Organisations may contact ESG Malaysia for coordination and administrative support.
